This position is responsible for ensuring that global and European PR programs and strategies are executed at country level, adapted to local needs, and taken further. You will be responsible for managing PR agency/agencies, as well as for the proper planning and utilisation of budgets. Objectives from the Head of Communications Europe will be broken down to this function and monitored. It is the responsibility of the Communications Manager to ensure that the PR agency/agencies adhere to unified goals and targets. You may also be part of the company?s pan-European or global task forces and virtual team and thus help the European/global organisation to reach their objectives.

Main duties & responsibilities

-?????? Point of contact for press in the country/region

-?????? Coordination and allocation of interview requests

-?????? Development, editing and approval of press releases and articles

-?????? Local point of contact during crises in the country/region

-?????? Development and execution of local press events

-?????? Support for editorial visits/ press tours to the country/region, as well as in other countries

-?????? (Internal communications)

-?????? (Responsible for specific communications tasks, such as the development of books, brochures???? and whitepapers, and for providing support for internal and external events)

-?????? Development, adaption and realisation of PR programs

-?????? Development of an annual/quarterly PR plan and event calendar

-?????? Point of contact for case studies (driven by sales)

-?????? Management of external PR agency

-?????? Provision of regular reports to Head of Communications

-?????? Participation in quarterly PR meetings

Desired Skills & Experience

-?????? University degree and 3 or more years of experience in the corporate communications? management or in a PR agency

-?????? ?Strategic way of thinking, able to ?look beyond his/her backyard?

-?????? ?Structured way of working, management capabilities

-?????? Good knowledge of the English language (written and oral)

-?????? Loyal, reliable, able to work independently and under pressure

-?????? Good writing skills

-?????? Good knowledge of MS Office

-?????? Ability to work in a team, good organisational skills

-?????? Must enjoy communicating with people from different cultural backgrounds
