Hey mate, cancer cells break off then travel through the lymphatic system.By this stage its too late for any real treatment.I think that the Original place where it started is the name that they give it.
sorry for your loss,God bless you also.
Cancers are always called by the name of the organ where they originated. A prostate cancer that metastasizes to the bone (or spreads to the bone) is still prostate cancer?it?s just an advanced stage ( a stage IV (four)).
There?s still treatment possible but it?s mostly to make him feel better and not to cure. The main treatment for prostate cancer that spreads to the bone is radiation therapy for the involved areas.
Hormonal therapy is also still useful even in advanced stage.
Best of luck
In other words, they removed his prostate and now it spread to his bones. Why isn?t it called bone cancer instead of prostate cancer? Can anyone give me some details on this cancer he has? Thanks! And God Bless!
