Francis Ford Coppola hotel in Argentina robbed

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina ? Argentine police say robbers over the weekend assaulted a small hotel in the country's capital owned by U.S. film director Francis Ford Coppola.

Police say the robbers made off with money and valuables, but more details were unavailable about how or when the robbery occurred. The official news agency Telam quoted a hotel employee as saying nobody was hurt in the incident.

The robbery wasn't the first for the small hotel in the ritzy Palermo district of Buenos Aires. In 2007, robbers took film equipment and computer hardware stored on the same property.

The director of "The Godfather," "Apocalypse Now" and other movies was not in Argentina during the most recent robbery.
